Most operators allow you to mix and match various options, such as hiring a driver and guide, choosing budget or luxury accommodations, and more. If you prefer to have some independent exploring time, another viable alternative is to hire a taxi for the days you wish to venture out on your own. It's important to remember that due to the altitude, it's advisable not to exert yourself too much early on. It's a customary practice for guides and drivers to dine together with their clients, fostering a sense of bonding and camaraderie.
