Are you ready for an amazing adventure in Cat Tien National Park? Getting there has become so much easier with road improvements. If you're coming from Ho Chi Minh City, you can now reach the park in as little as 3 hours, avoiding the traffic jams in Bien Hoa. Just plan for at least 4 hours if you're traveling to or from Dalat. The park is located near the town of Tan Phu, which is about 25 km away from the ferry crossing into the park. This part of the journey can be a bit tricky if you're not prepared. But don't worry, we have all the information you need for a smooth trip in our bus travel section. The ferry crossings operate from approximately 6:30 in the morning until 7:00 p.m. Remember, night crossings are usually prohibited, but there might be 'exceptions' at times. If you want to witness the wildlife, the best time is early morning for primates and birds. And if you're interested in the night tour, consider staying across the river in the park itself.
