If you're planning a trip to Kanding or Litang, you have several transportation options available. During the day, there are bus connections from Sayaxche to Kanding, which takes about 5 hours, and Litang, which takes approximately 4 and a half hours. However, please note that as of August 2012, the highway is under construction, so the travel times may be extended by about an hour. If you prefer a more flexible mode of transport, you can also hire a private or shared taxi from a side street downhill from the main road. Just be aware that the conditions of the roads may not be in the best condition due to ongoing construction. Despite the challenges, exploring these destinations will reward you with breathtaking landscapes and cultural experiences to remember.
