As you make your way, enjoy breathtaking views of the river from a seat on the right side of the bus. You will likely pay your fare when disembarking the bus, and EasyCard is accepted as a convenient payment method. Once you arrive at the bus stop, it's just a 30-minute walk to reach the enchanting waterfall, allowing you to soak in the natural beauty along the way. For a swift and convenient journey, consider taking a taxi from Taipei to Wulai. The ride from Xindian MRT station takes only 30 minutes, although it may be a bit pricey. At the Xindian MRT taxi line, you'll find a fare sign with predetermined prices based on the destination. The cost of a one-way trip to Wulai from Xindian MRT is $600 NT. When returning from Wulai by taxi, you can negotiate the fare, which should be lower than $600 NT but still more expensive than the bus option. Occasionally, during busy periods when buses are crowded, taxi drivers may approach you with an offer to take four people to Wulai for NT$100 each. This can be quite a bargain if you desire a faster and more comfortable route to reach your destination.
