Getting to Westwood By train - You can easily reach Westwood by taking the New Jersey Transit on the Pascack Valley Line. The train runs from Hoboken and connects to New York Penn Station through the Secaucus junction. It's a scenic journey that takes about an hour and costs around $7. By car - There are a few routes you can take by car to get to Westwood. From the Garden State Parkway, take exit 168 and turn right onto Washington Ave. Travel approximately 2 miles down Washington Ave. to downtown Westwood. If you're coming from the George Washington Bridge, take Rt. 4 west to Route 17 north and then the Garden State Parkway north to exit 168. From the Tappan Zee Bridge, take exit 12 from I-287 and follow Rt. 59 west. These routes will take you through picturesque towns along the way. By bus - If you prefer to travel by bus, Route 165 stops in downtown Westwood. Buses leave from the Port Authority and the journey takes about an hour. It's an affordable option, costing around $5 each way.
