Get in
Erattupetta is the nearest town to Wagamon, located approximately 25km away. To reach Wagamon, you can take the Kottayam Kumali road (KK road) and make a turn from Peerumedu. Alternatively, you can also reach Wagamon from the Iddukki dam site. Although there are KSRTC buses available, it's highly recommended to have your own vehicle for the best experience. The roads leading to Wagamon are a biker's dream, offering thrilling rides. Just remember to be cautious with the blind turns and steep sides. If you're seeking even more adventure, you can take the Ernakulam-Thodupuzha-Kanjar route. From Thodupuzha, take the Moolamattom dam road and before Kanjar town, you'll find a small road on the right (indicated by a signboard). This road is steep, but the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Keep an eye out for oncoming vehicles and get ready for an incredible journey!
