Embarking on a road trip from Moscow is an exhilarating way to discover the enchanting town of Vereya. You have two exciting routes to choose from. Firstly, you can take the M1 until the crossing with Mozhaisk-Vereya road. Then, head south and get ready to immerse yourself in the breathtaking scenery. Alternatively, you can opt for the M3 until Naro-Fominsk and make your way through the town towards Kubinka, following the striking roadsigns for both Kubinka and Vereya. Just remember to take the left turn towards Vereya after crossing the town. If a train journey sparks your curiosity, the nearest stations are Dorokhovo and Mozhaisk from Belorusskiy train station, or Nara from Kievskii train station. These stations offer connections to the marvelous destination you seek. For the adventurers who prefer to hop on a bus, we must mention that Vereya is a hidden gem with limited bus connections compared to other towns in the Moscow Region. However, fear not, as there are still several reliable routes available. One of the most stable options is the 32 bus, which departs from Dorokhovo station around 10-12 times a day and takes approximately 55 minutes to reach Vereya. Keep in mind that this bus doesn't start from the bus station, but rather from the ring south of the railway near the head of electrichka if you're coming from Moscow. Other convenient bus connections include the 35 bus from Mozhaisk train station (around 6 trips per day, with a travel time of 50 minutes, mostly in the morning), the 23 bus from Nara train station (10 trips daily, with a travel time of 1 hour and 30 minutes), and the 301 bus from Tushinskaya metro station in Moscow (around 6 trips per day, with a travel time of 2 hours and 30 minutes, although this route may experience occasional traffic congestion on the M1). Please note that the frequency of buses may vary depending on the day of the week and the season, especially dropping in frequency after 4 PM. It's always a good idea to check beforehand, unless you're feeling spontaneous and ready to embrace the unpredictability of taking a taxi or hitchhiking back. Prepare yourself for an extraordinary journey to Vereya!
