Get in
## SECTION TEXT HERE ## When it comes to transit in the downtown area, the City Centre is the main destination for most commuters. You'll find three SkyTrain stations in the downtown core that provide various transit options. - Waterfront Station, located at Cordova and the foot of Granville St, is the main hub. Here, you can access the SkyTrain, SeaBus, West Coast Express, and many bus routes that terminate at this station. - Granville Station (Expo Line) / Vancouver City Centre (Canada Line), situated at the corner of Georgia and Granville Streets, serves as pickup points for several local and suburban bus routes that connect to West Vancouver and North Vancouver. - Burrard Station, found at the corner of Burrard and Dunsmuir Sts., serves as a pickup point for local buses heading to UBC, Kitsilano, Vancouver's west side, and suburban services to the east side of the North Shore. Driving in and around downtown is generally trouble-free, except during rush hour. However, parking can be a hassle. It's recommended to leave your car outside the city centre and utilize the SkyTrain or SeaBus for transportation. If you choose to drive, Georgia Street is the primary thoroughfare in the Central Business District. It continues through Stanley Park and the West End, ultimately leading to the North Shore via the Lions Gate Bridge. Access to downtown from the south is available via bridges over False Creek, such as the Burrard, Granville, and Cambie bridges. Choose the bridge that is closest to your location. Parking in the downtown area can be expensive and sometimes difficult to find. Expect to pay between $12 to $25 per day for parking in a parkade. On-street parking meters operate from 9 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. Additionally, many streets have no parking zones during rush hour. Plan accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.
