There are several scenic routes to explore in this area. One option is Route 63, which takes you from ndalsnes through the stunning Trollstigen pass (available in summer). Another option is Route 63 from Geiranger with a short ferry crossing at Eidsdal.
If you're coming from lesund, Route 650 is a convenient choice.
During the summer, you can also take a scheduled car ferry from Geiranger to Valldal. Please note that the ferry has limited capacity and only runs a few times a day. To ensure a spot for your car, it's advisable to make a reservation or arrive early. Although it's a bit pricey, the ferry offers a delightful 2-hour cruise along the Geirangerfjord.
From Valldal, there are buses available to lesund, Geiranger, and ndalsnes, operating multiple times throughout the day.
