To reach Wakai in the Togian Islands, you have a couple of options. Option 1: Ampana-Wakai Ferry Every day at 9:00 am and 1:00 PM, you can take the Ampana-Wakai ferry. The fare for this ferry is 180,000 Indonesian Rupiah (Rp). Option 2: Gorontalo-Wakai Ferry On Tuesdays and Fridays at 4pm, there is a ferry that operates between Gorontalo and Wakai. The journey takes approximately 12 hours and costs 80,000 Rp. If you prefer more comfort, you can rent a mattress for the night or even a private room for around 400,000-600,000 Rp for a group of four. Option 3: Wakai-Una Una Ferry There is a public boat that departs from Wakai to Una Una on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 8:00 am. The journey is only 4 hours long and the fare is 30,000 Rp. Alternatively, you can charter a boat at any time for approximately 800,000 Rp. For larger groups, the price is 200,000 Rp per person. Option 4: Marisa-Una Una Speed Boat If you prefer a faster option, there is a speed boat service available from Marisa to Una Una. The journey takes 4 hours and costs 2,500,000 Rp.
