Understand
Udo Island, also known as "Cow Island," is the largest of the islands in Jeju-si. Its name comes from its resemblance to a cow lying down. This volcanic island boasts fertile flatlands where various agricultural products, including sweet potatoes, garlic, and peanuts, thrive. In the southeast, you'll find a satellite cone called Shoi meori oreum. Udo Island experiences a pleasant coastal climate throughout the year, although its winter season can be a bit chilly.

Jajangmyeon is a delightful noodle dish starring chewy somen noodles drenched in a savory black bean sauce, typically garnished with julienned cucumber, crispy seaweed, and sesame seeds. While it often features seafood like squid, octopus, or shrimp, there are also vegetarian versions available.
