Step into a world of blissful paradise along Bintan's east coast, where nature reigns supreme. Trikora Beach, once a popular spot for local visitors and backpackers, has transformed into a haven for larger developments and a range of tourist destinations. However, for those seeking a day away from the bustling crowds, Trikora remains a beloved choice. Stretching along the coast with picturesque beaches numbered from one to four, Trikora Beach Four stands as a testament to the allure of Bintan Resorts. With its vast expanse of sand and charming shelters provided by the nearby food vendors, you can enjoy a peaceful day by the sea. Swimming may not be allowed during the monsoon season due to the powerful waves, but the beauty and tranquility of Trikora Beach Four more than make up for it.
Get in
To reach Trikora in Bintan, there are two main routes to consider. One option is to go south from the main port of Tanjung Pinang, while the other is to head north from Bintan Resorts. Most visitors prefer the southern route from Tanjung Pinang, as taxis in the northern zone tend to be more expensive. A taxi from the main ferry terminal should cost no more than 350,000 Rp. Alternatively, if you're feeling adventurous, you can hop on a motorbike outside the ferry station. Negotiate a fair price (around S$10 to S$15) and enjoy a scenic journey that takes about an hour. You can also rent a motorbike at the ferry terminal or elsewhere in Tanjung Pinang for approximately 100,000 rupiah per day. Many hotels offer free transfers, but be prepared for possible waiting times.
