The Trans-Siberian Railway has three termini: Moscow, Beijing, and Vladivostok. For those looking for an adventure, there's also a weekly connection from Moscow to Pyongyang. To start your journey, you can reach Moscow by train from anywhere in Europe. Fares from London start at around 200. If you prefer a more affordable option, Eurolines operates the European coach system with fares from London starting from around 60. And if you prefer to fly, Aeroflot is the principal airline operating into and out of Moscow. To extend your Trans-Siberian experience, you can also travel on the Paris-Moscow service, a direct Russian train from Paris to Moscow via Germany, Poland, and Belarus. Another option is the Nice-Moscow route via Monaco, Italy, Austria, and the Czech Republic. If you're interested in an additional maritime adventure, ferries run throughout the year between Vladivostok and Fushiki, Japan. The trip takes about two days and arrangements can be made through Business Intour Service, which has offices in Tokyo and Vladivostok. There are also ferries that run from Sokcho and Donghae, South Korea, to Vladivostok. And for your convenience, Aeroflot serves Vladivostok, among other destinations. Beijing is well-connected by numerous international airlines. You can also reach Beijing by train from as far south as Lhasa (Tibet) or Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam). However, please note that there are no rail connections to Thailand, Myanmar, or India.
