The charming town of Torre de' Roveri is nestled in the Lombardy region, boasting an elevation of 270 meters above sea level. Situated just 8 km from Bergamo and 10 km from the International Orio al Serio airport, it offers a convenient location between the picturesque Valleys Seriana and Cavallina, which are separated by the magnificent Mount Misma. This hilly area of the Orobie Pre-Alps is adorned with vineyards, fields, and enchanting woods, enchanting visitors with its natural beauty. One of the highlights of Torre de' Roveri is its local farms, where you can indulge in the delightful flavors of typical wines such as Valcalepio or Moscato di Scanzo. The town's name is derived from the abundant "rovere" trees that grace the area, as well as the word "torre" meaning "tower." The origin of the latter word remains a subject of debate, whether it is associated with the bell tower, an iconic symbol of the town, or with the influential Sforza Della Torre family who settled here.
