The Togean Islands, located in the Tomini Gulf, are a stunning group of islands that can be reached from Gorontalo in the north or Ampana in the south. Although the journey to get there may be long, it is absolutely worth it! The main islands of Togean, Batudaka, and Pulau Una Una are surrounded by a total of 56 small islands, each offering unique beauty. Don't miss the chance to visit Malenge, Wakai, and Bomba, where you can discover pristine white sandy beaches. It's important to note that all the hotels in the Togean Islands charge per person, not per room, so make sure to budget accordingly. Additionally, there are no ATMs on the islands, so be sure to bring enough cash. However, if you need access to an ATM, you can find them for Mastercard, VISA, and Cirrus at the mainland. Some of the resorts on the islands also have satellite internet connection and accept credit cards or money transfers. Make sure to check with your chosen resort when booking your accommodation.
