Traveling from Mexico City to Tepoztlan is an exciting adventure that begins at Tasquea station, where you can catch a bus to the southern bus depot next door. The bus ride, provided by Pullman de Morelos, offers breathtaking scenery and takes approximately one and a half hours. Tickets cost 120 pesos, and the buses depart every 40 minutes. Once in Tepoztlan, you may be dropped off at a depot on the outskirts of town. Taxis are readily available to take you to the vibrant main square for only 40 pesos. Alternatively, you can enjoy a 20-30 minute walk that will lead you directly to the center. When it's time to return to Cuernavaca, simply follow Del Tepozteco road for about 20 minutes to reach the bus station. For a unique experience, you can also hitchhike near the toll booths on the edge of town or catch the bus back to Mexico City from the Bus Depot where you arrived in Tepoztlan.
