Get in
To reach Rio Celeste, you have a few options for transportation. If you're coming from the town of Guatuso, you can take a one-hour bus trip to get there. Alternatively, if you prefer to drive, head to the town of Bijagua. At the north end of the town, you'll find the road that leads up to the park entrance. Be aware that this road is rocky and unpaved, so a 4-wheel drive vehicle is necessary. Another option is to park at the bottom and hike up, which is about a 7km distance to the park entrance. Whichever way you choose, prepare yourself for an adventurous journey in the beautiful Rio Celeste!
