Tasiilaq does not have its own airport, but fear not, there are exciting ways to get there! - By Air: After landing at Kulusuk Airport, a small island just 23 kilometers (14 miles) away from Tasiilaq, you can catch a thrilling ten-minute helicopter flight offered by Air Greenland. If you have booked your accommodation with a hotel or a campground, they usually provide a boat service to pick you up from the airport. Alternatively, you can try arranging a boat ride with a local fisherman. During the winter season, you can also experience the adventure of reaching Tasiilaq by snowmobile, dogsled, or even on skis. - Additional Flight Options: Air Iceland (not to be confused with Icelandair) provides year-round flights from Reykjavik Airport to Kulusuk.
