When it comes to accessing the islands, the main entry points are Svendborg, which can be easily reached by highway, bus, and train, and Faaborg, which is best accessed by bus from Odense. If you're feeling adventurous, you can also head to Rudkbing on Langeland and catch a ferry to some of the islands.
