BC Ferries operates car ferries to various ports of call, including Otter Bay on Pender Island, Sturdies Bay on Galiano Island, Village Bay on Mayne Island, Lyall Harbour on Saturna Island, and Fulford Harbour, Long Harbour, and Vesuvius on Salt Spring Island. It is highly recommended to make reservations, especially during the summer when the demand is high. Sometimes, you may need to take a ferry to Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island and then change ferries to reach your desired destination within the Southern Gulf Islands. Additionally, some of the islands are also serviced by float planes from Vancouver harbour or airport.
