Located 59.6 kilometers south of its counterpart, North Sentinel Island, South Sentinel Island stretches over 160 hectares. Colonel Alcock noted in his journal that South Sentinel Island is slightly raised and seamlessly merges with the surrounding coral formations. Currently uninhabited, the island remains a pristine and untouched natural wonder worth exploring.
