Looking to explore the beautiful lake of Snagov and its surroundings? No worries, there are frequent minibuses available to take you there! These minibuses depart from the public transport terminal at Presei Liberei square. To reach Snagov monastery, it is recommended to take the "maxitaxi" (a type of minibus) number 443, which will take you to Silitea Snagovului in just one hour. From there, it's just a short one-kilometer walk to the lake. Don't forget to familiarize yourself with the minibus schedule, as the village can be quite isolated. Alternatively, you can also reach the monastery's island by renting a boat from the locals. Note that there are no ferries available, so make sure to arrange for a boat rental in Snagov itself.
