If you're planning to visit Sitges from Barcelona, there are several ways to make the journey. The easiest and most convenient option is by taking the Spanish Railways (RENFE) known as "Rodalies de Catalunya." You can catch the train (R2 Sud) from Barcelona, which costs around 4.20 for a single ticket or 8.40 for a return ticket. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes and offers a scenic view along the way. Direct trains depart from Passeig de Grcia, Sants, and Estaci de Frana stations. If you're at Plaa de Catalunya, don't worry about the late hours, as there is a night bus service (Mon-Bus) available when the normal bus service stops around 10:30 PM. For those who prefer to drive, there are two routes to choose from. You can take the C-31, a local road that winds its way around the cliff faces, or opt for the faster and safer C-32 toll motorway. Keep in mind that the C-32 will cost you around 6, while the C-31 is free. If you're flying to Sitges, the closest international airport is Barcelona/El Prat de Llobregat (BCN) airport. You can reach Sitges from Terminal 2 by taking the Rodalies mainline or Metro L9 services. Alternatively, if you arrive at Terminal 1, you can use the Metro L9. Both options require changing at El Prat de Llobregat stations. Another airport you can consider is Reus/Tarragona (REU) airport, serving regional flights. To reach Sitges from Reus/Tarragona, you'll need to change trains at either Sant Vicen de Calders or Vilanova i la Geltr. Girona/Gerona (GRO) airport is also an option but keep in mind it is over 125 km away in Costa Brava.
