Jurong East is an exciting area that is part of the Jurong Lake District masterplan, with plans for it to become a suburban CBD. It is home to a vibrant constituency called Yuhua and features attractions such as IMM, a mega factory outlet mall. You can also find popular destinations like JEM and Jcube, as well as the upcoming Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. Jurong West is a diverse area that includes several distinct neighborhoods such as Hong Kah, Boon Lay, Taman Jurong, Pioneer, Nanyang (home to Nanyang Technological University), and Gek Poh Ville. Each neighborhood offers its own unique charm and attractions. Jurong Industrial is a bustling hub that encompasses various areas such as Lok Yang, Gul, Pasir Laba, Neythal, Jurong Port, Jurong Pier, Jurong Hill, Pioneer Sector, Toh Tuck, Kian Teck, Chin Bee, Jurong Island, and Penjuru. It seamlessly merges into the Tuas Industrial area, creating a vast industrial landscape. Jurong Lake is a captivating man-made lake located between the Chinese Garden and Lakeside MRT stations. It not only offers picturesque views but also houses the beautiful Chinese Garden and Japanese Garden, making it a serene and tranquil spot to visit. Jurong Island, a remarkable creation formed by merging several small islands, serves as the petroleum and petrochemical hub of Singapore. This island has a special status under Singapore law and is protected by a private security company, Singapore army, and Singapore police force. Only authorized personnel are allowed access to this area, as it is a restricted zone. Please note that taking photos and videos on Jurong Island without proper authorization from security personnel is strictly prohibited.

By MRT, the East West Line travels through Jurong, with stations at Jurong East, Chinese Garden, Lakeside, Boon Lay, Pioneer and Joo Koon; 60 minutes from Changi Airport (transfer at Tanah Merah Interchange) and 30 minutes from City Hall. The North South Line terminates at Jurong East MRT Station; 30 minutes from Woodlands. Jurong is well connected to the rest of Singapore by road, with Kranji Expressway linking them to the northern part of Singapore, Pan Island Expressway linking them to the eastern part of Singapore and the Ayer Rajah Expressway linking them to the south-eastern part of Singapore. Clementi Avenue 6 and Jurong Town Hall Road complement the 3 expressways, topping off the well-built road connection from Jurong to all parts of the island. Further west along the Ayer Rajah Expressway is the industrial area of Tuas, connecting to the Tuas Second Link via the Tuas Checkpoint for travel onwards into Johor, Malaysia. Causeway Link provides cross-border buses from Jurong East and Boon Lay to various attractions in Johor Bahru via the Second Link.
