The town of Shinonsen is located along the JR Sanin Line, with 4 stations within its vicinity. These stations include Igumi, Moroyose, Hamasaka, and Kutani, covering a distance of approximately 12 km. Amongst these stations, Hamasaka serves as the main hub and the only stop for limited express trains. Traveling from the city of Tottori to Shinonsen takes approximately 30 minutes on the Hamakaze Ltd Express (1880) or 45 minutes by local trains (590). On the other hand, if you're coming from the serene Kinosaki Onsen, you can expect a journey of around 40 minutes on the Hamakaze Ltd Express (1870) or approximately 1 hour by local trains (680).
