Sapporo's New Chitose Airport (CTS) is conveniently located near Shikotsu. You can take direct buses from the airport to Shikotsu Kohan, which will take you there in just 55 minutes for 920 yen. If you're coming from Sapporo or Tomakomai, there are also direct buses available. Want to visit Toyako Kohan? No problem! There are buses connecting Toyako Kohan to Sapporo as well, which takes around 2.5 hours and costs 2700 yen. Toya Station is situated along the main Hakodate-Sapporo line, but you'll need to take an additional 20-minute bus ride from there to reach Toyako Onsen. Don't worry, though, as the bus schedule is aligned with the train arrivals. Just hop on the bus right after you get off the train and make sure to have some loose change for the fare. If you prefer a taxi, it will cost you approximately 2200 yen for a ride to Toyako Onsen. Get ready for an amazing adventure!
