If you're feeling adventurous, hitchhiking from Sofia is also a viable option. It is often quite easy to find rides if you start your journey before noon. To reach the hitchhiking spot, you can take tram N.22 from Poduyane rail station and alight at the next stop. From there, transfer to bus N.90 and get off after coming out of the subway. You'll then hit the highway, ready for your hitchhiking adventure!
