The Reykjavk bus system, Strt, provides a convenient way to reach Selfoss from the city. Hop on route number 51 at Mjdd interchange station and enjoy the scenic ride through Hverageri. The bus will take you all the way to Fossnesti in Selfoss. Don't worry about the cost, as a ride between Reykjavk and Selfoss is only 1,400 kr. With buses departing approximately every hour on weekdays, you won't have to wait long to explore this charming town. If you're feeling adventurous, there are also buses that travel between Selfoss, Eyrarbakki, and Stokkseyri on the south coast.
