Get in
When exploring Seattle, it's important to note that Queen Anne Ave. serves as the dividing line between the "North" and "West" avenues. A unique feature of Seattle is that you might find yourself crossing 1st Ave. N and then 1st Ave. W without changing direction—don't be surprised! Seattle Center and South Lake Union are conveniently located within walking or biking distance from Downtown. However, if you're up for a challenge, consider climbing up Queen Anne Hill for a more vigorous workout. Just keep in mind that Aurora Avenue (SR-99) acts as a barrier between Seattle Center and South Lake Union, and can only be crossed at select points. So plan your route accordingly and make the most of your Seattle adventures!
