Sayaxche is a small town located between Coban and Flores, and while many tourists simply pass through, there are a few things that make it worth a visit. The town can be easily reached by taking a microbus from Coban to the central part of Sayaxche. From there, you can catch a small ferry for only 2Q to cross the river and continue your journey to Flores. If you are coming from Guatemala City, you can take a bus to Coban and then transfer to a bus or microbus to Sayaxche. Keep in mind that you may need to change microbuses at Raxruja along the way.
