Sakai, conveniently located on the regional highway Madona-Gulbene, is a hidden gem waiting to be explored. While there may not be any railway stops within its territory, you can easily reach the neighboring fractions of Sarkai and Biksre via public bus. These buses run frequently, allowing you to seamlessly explore other nearby destinations such as Gulbene, Smiltene, Lubna, Cesvaine, and Balvi. Although Sakai doesn't have its own airfield, the nearest international airport in Riga is just 170km away, ensuring convenient access to this charming area.
