Don't worry about facilities - there are conveniently located bathrooms at the park entrance. However, be sure to plan your visit accordingly, as the park is closed on Mondays.

Starting from Liberia, head 5 km north up the Inter-American Highway, then turn right (east) towards Curubande and continue for 17 km. Keep going until you pass through Hacienda Guachipelin, and there you are!

- Road Conditions: The gravel road can be rough, so make sure to have a spare tire and jack in your car. A two-wheel-drive vehicle can make the journey, weather permitting, but a four-wheel-drive car is advisable during the wet season.
