Let's dive into the details: By Car: - Drive south on Mex 307, a four-lane divided highway that takes you through captivating destinations like Playa del Carmen and Tulum. - In Tulum, take a left at the only traffic light and continue heading south on the only road that leads straight to Punta Allen. Along the way, you'll pass the remarkable Sian Kahn Park entrance, where you can stop to pay the entrance fee and explore a captivating nature trail. - The road from Tulum to Punta Allen offers breathtaking views and delightful surprises. Take your time to marvel at the pristine beaches and stunning rock formations. Remember to fill up your gas tank in Tulum as there are no gas stations in Punta Allen. By Bus: - If you prefer not to drive, don't worry! You can still make your way to Punta Allen using public transport. Here's how: - All public transport from Cancun goes to Tulum, and from there, you have a couple of options. You can try catching a colectivo that leaves from Tulum at 2 pm, but availability may vary. - Another option is to take a taxi to the Sian Ka'an Visitor Centre and hop on a boat that departs at 3 pm daily, taking you directly to Punta Allen. Keep in mind that the taxi fare might be around 600 pesos. - Returning to Tulum is easier. Catch a boat from Punta Allen's pier at 7.30 am, and it will take you to the Visitor Centre. From there, a colectivo will be waiting to transport you back to Tulum. So, whether you're cruising in a car or embarking on a thrilling public transport adventure, get ready to experience the wonders of Punta Allen!
