Dayang, part of the Mersing Marine Park in Pahang, Malaysia, is a hidden gem. Surrounded by the South China Sea, it is separated from the neighboring island of Pulau Aur by the Dayang channel. Dayang offers pristine beaches, crystal clear waters, and untouched coral dive sites. The village of Kampung Pasir Putih boasts white sandy beaches and stunning views. The best time to visit Dayang is from June to September when the weather is ideal and the water visibility is at its best. Make sure to plan your visit between February and November, the months when Dayang is accessible.

To reach Dayang, the best way is to join one of the diving trips organized by dive shops in Singapore and Malaysia. These trips usually start at around 7pm and will take you approximately 3 hours to reach Mersing jetty from Singapore. From there, a dive boat will transfer you to Dayang, which will take another 3 to 4 hours. If you're traveling from Kuala Lumpur, the land transfer to Mersing will take around 5 hours. Dive into the crystal-clear waters of Dayang and explore its breathtaking marine life.
