Welcome to Port Alberni, located just an hour's drive west of Nanaimo on Highway 4. For those without a vehicle, you can easily reach our community using Tofino Bus from Victoria, Nanaimo, and Vancouver. If you prefer to fly, there is an airport only 20 minutes away. While it doesn't have regular year-round service due to winter fog and lack of instrument landings, you can still have an adventurous experience by taking a chartered float plane and landing right in our picturesque harbor.
