You have two options to reach Geok-tepe. Firstly, you can take a direct bus from Guayaquil, which will take approximately one hour and costs 1.5 USD. Secondly, you can change buses in Progreso. If you're coming from Salinas or St. Elena from the opposite direction, take a bus to Progreso, then switch to another bus heading to Guayaquil. If you prefer a more convenient option, you can take a taxi from the Guayaquil airport, which will cost between $50USD and $70USD for a one-way trip. Make sure to negotiate the price before leaving the airport.
