Get in
To access the northern sector of the area, you will need to traverse 40 km of unpaved road. The first 18 km are of good quality, but it is highly recommended to have a 4x4 vehicle for the rest of the journey. If you prefer to explore the southern sector, you can take a boat (lancha) from Quelln. This boat not only transports personnel and supplies but also welcomes tourists. During high season (January and February), there are three trips a week (on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) departing from Quellon at 9:30 and returning at 15:00. In low season, there are five boats available each month. Due to limited space on the boat, it is advisable to reserve your spot with the guardaparques office in Quelln. However, if you happen to encounter fishermen traveling in either direction, they may offer to give you a ride for free or charge up to 10,000 pesos. The journey on a speedboat takes approximately 3 hours, while traveling with the fishermen may take around 6 hours.
