By Air
The nearest airport to Palitana is Bhavnagar, which is located 51 kilometers away. However, this airport only connects with Mumbai. If you're coming from other places, it is more convenient to fly to either Ahmedabad or Vadodara. Ahmedabad has an international airport and Vadodara has regular flights to important cities like Mumbai and Delhi.
By Rail
Palitana has a small railway station that is only connected to Bhavnagar. The best way is to take a train to Bhavnagar and then use local transport to reach Palitana. There is also a direct train from Mumbai via Ahmedabad, but it runs once a week.
By Road
There are buses available for Bhavnagar from Palitana. You can also find regular buses from Ahmedabad, Talaja, Una, and Diu. Taxis are available for hire from Bhavnagar, Ahmedabad, or Vadodara. The bus stand is situated 800 meters away from the Palitana railway station. There are also daily buses running between Mumbai and Palitana due to the importance of Palitana for Jainism and the large number of people from Mumbai visiting.
