Get in
Getting to Panama City is relatively easy and there are multiple transportation options to choose from. One recommended method is to take a quick 50-minute flight offered by reputable airlines like Copa Airlines or Air Panam. These airlines provide daily flights from Panama City to the charming town of David. For those who prefer a more scenic journey, there's also the possibility of embarking on a day-long car ride from Panama City. This route takes you along the picturesque Interamerican Highway, allowing you to discover small cities and villages along the way. However, please note that the road is currently undergoing construction, which may result in traffic and occasional potholes, making it somewhat challenging to navigate independently. If you're coming to Panama from Costa Rica, you have the option of direct flights from San José to David or Panama City. Additionally, Air Panam offers flights to the beautiful Chiriqui region every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Thanks to recent expansions at David Airport, there has been an increase in international traffic and the ability to accommodate larger aircraft. Copa Airlines now offers direct flights (with a layover for immigration in Panama City) from many North American cities. This option not only saves time but also provides significant savings for tourists who want to reach the stunning Chiriqui Province directly.
