Exploring the incredible area of Jinka and the surrounding national park is an unforgettable adventure. To begin your journey, take a bus from Meskel Square in Addis Ababa to Arba Minch. Once in Arba Minch, head to the main bus station where you can catch a bus to Jinka. Be prepared for some negotiating with the touts there, as they may try to charge exorbitant prices for the journey. Remember to stand your ground and avoid paying more than 150 Birr, which should also cover your luggage and any service tips. As you travel from Arba Minch to Jinka, brace yourself for an approximately 8-hour ride on unpaved roads, adding an extra dose of excitement to your adventure. Upon arriving in Jinka, take a moment to soak in the surroundings before catching one of the buses departing from the main Jinka bus station between 6:30 and 6:45 am. Despite what the touts may say, it is allowed to take these buses into the national park. Get ready to immerse yourself in the wonders of the park and create memories that will stay with you forever!
