You can embark on your Sardinian adventure in several ways. If you prefer the sea, the port of Arbatax is the ideal entry point from the mainland. Alternatively, you can catch a flight to the small airport in Arbatax, though the flights are limited and only available seasonally. They are currently working on expanding the landing lanes to make it more accessible. If you're driving, you can start your journey from Olbia (Port and Airport) and take the scenic route along SS125, heading south for a breathtaking two-hour drive. From Cagliari, follow the same SS125, but this time northbound for an impressive journey of 1.5 hours. Lastly, if you're coming from Alghero, prepare for a captivating 2.5 to 3-hour drive as you cross the picturesque inland Sardinia and pass through Sassari and Nuoro before arriving at Lanusei. Each route offers its own unique and beautiful landscapes to admire.
