Get ready for an epic trekking experience on the Numbur Cheese Circuit. Here's how you can get to the start and finish points: By bus: A seasonal super express bus service operates between Kathmandu's Old Bus Park and Shivalaya. Departing at 7am daily, this bus service offers a convenient option for reaching your destination. By road: If you choose to drive, the journey from Kathmandu to Jiri/Shivalaya takes around 6-8 hours. Along the Swiss built Lamosangu-Jiri Road, you'll be treated to breathtaking mountain views and well-paved roads. During the monsoon season, please note that the road to Shivalaya is usually closed. In such cases, you'll need to trek from Jiri to Shivalya, adding an extra day to your adventure. Additionally, buses might not run as far as Those (the end point), so make sure to plan your return journey accordingly.
