Don't forget about the thorough security screening stations that await you. It's worth noting that not all international flights have the luxury of docking near the terminals with aerobridge access. For example, Shenzhen Airlines flights from Singapore park on the tarmac, requiring passengers to descend via stairs and be shuttled to the terminals by bus. This is especially true during the winter months, so pack accordingly and be ready for an adventurous arrival or departure experience.
