If you're planning a visit to Nameri Eco Camp in Tezpur, India, transportation options are available to suit different budgets and preferences. For a convenient and private mode of transportation, you can hire a Tata Indica private cab from Tezpur, which will cost around Rs 600-800. On the other hand, budget travelers can opt for shared transportation. A shared taxi service, such as the Tata Ace Magic, is available from Tezpur A.S.T.C bus stand at an affordable rate of Rs 15 per person. This shared taxi will take you to Balipara, located approximately 20 kilometers away from Tezpur. From Balipara, Nameri Eco Camp is another 15 kilometers away. If you prefer public transportation, you can catch the Itanagar-Bomdila bus that passes through Balipara around 11:00 AM. This bus can drop you at the Nameri Bus stop, which is marked by the "Bhalukpong 22 KM" milestone. Alternatively, you can negotiate with one of the numerous shared taxis, such as the TATA Ace Magic, for a drop-off at the Nameri bus stop. From the bus stop, Nameri Eco Camp is a short 2.3 kilometers to the right. Please note that there is no public transport available in this stretch.
