Traveling to Chad can be an exciting adventure! If you're coming from a non-African city like Paris or Istanbul, you can catch direct flights to N'Djamena. Air France operates flights from Paris, while Turkish Airlines offers flights from Istanbul. Within Africa, you can also connect to N'Djamena from cities such as Addis Ababa, Khartoum, Cairo, Nairobi, and Douala. It's worth noting that historically, the main entry to the city was by boat up the Chari and Logone rivers, although this is not commonly done anymore. Unfortunately, N'Djamena does not have railway links. However, if you're already in Cameroon, you can take a minibus from Maroua to the Kousseri Border, where you can easily cross into N'Djamena. Please note that attempting to cross the borders of other countries may be dangerous or closed for entry. So, make sure to plan your trip accordingly and explore the wonders of N'Djamena safely!
