Don't worry, these buses travel during the night so you can relax and enjoy the journey. Prices for bus tickets vary, with the most expensive option being around 120 soles. For a quicker option, you can fly from Lima to Tarapoto. Both LAN Peru and Star Peru offer flights to Tarapoto. From there, you can take a taxi or bus to Moyobamba. A taxi ride will cost you 25 soles and a bus ticket will be 20 soles. The trip from Tarapoto to Moyobamba takes approximately 2 hours and offers stunning views along the way. Another way to arrive is by boat from Iquitos to Yurimaguas, then take a bus or taxi to Tarapoto and Moyobamba. Just brace yourself for the winding road with its ups and downs, although the breathtaking beauty makes it worth it.
