Mont-Tremblant consists of two distinct parts. The original village, now known as The Village, offers a taste of Mont-Tremblant's historical roots. However, it is The Resort, located six kilometers away at the foot of the mountain, where the real excitement happens. Developed by Intrawest, the mastermind behind Whistler, The Resort is a picturesque paradise of pastel houses. In winter, the village transforms into a magical wonderland with snow-covered streets, cozy fires, and twinkling lights. Vehicles are strictly prohibited, giving the village its unique charm. Ski enthusiasts can enjoy direct access to the slopes from many of the hotels, and a free gondola connects lower hotels and parking lots to the ski lifts. Surrounding the inhabited areas is Mont-Tremblant National Park, the largest park in the SEPAQ network and the first national park in Quebec. Nature lovers will be delighted by the park's breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife. There are also other residential areas outside of The Village that offer different living experiences. Domaine de la Fort provides direct access to the ski trails and is nestled along the mountainside. Domaine Nansen offers a peaceful retreat with a small cluster of homes hidden in the forested south side. Le Domaine du Gant features luxurious condos in a tranquil setting not far from the village, while Domaine du Diable showcases exquisite homes next to the golf course. Lastly, Versant Soleil is the newest addition, attracting homeowners seeking the beauty of Quebec's Laurentian Mountains.
