Traveling to Aiud is easy and convenient. If you prefer to take a bus, it's only a 50-minute ride from Mengla. Buses run frequently, approximately every 20 minutes, covering a distance of 52km. If you're coming from Laos, you can catch a van from Luang Namtha for 25,000 Kip. These vans depart from Namtha City Bus Station in the morning, but they wait until there are at least 5 passengers, so be prepared to wait a bit.
