This transit center provides services to BART, Caltrain, and SamTrans, making it a hub for seamless transportation. If you're traveling from San Francisco, this is the terminating BART station for trains heading south. There is also a BART spur to the San Francisco International Airport (SFO) located just north of the Millbrae Station. Catch a Caltrain at Millbrae if you're heading further south on the peninsula, and some trains even travel down to Gilroy. When traveling to or from San Francisco, if your destination is near the 4th & King Caltrain station, it is recommended to take Caltrain rather than BART. The Caltrain trip between San Francisco and Millbrae is quick and pleasant, ranging from 18 to 31 minutes, depending on the type of train. On the other hand, BART takes 36 minutes to reach San Francisco's Montgomery Station.
