Get in
To reach the charming town of Mestre, you have two airport options to choose from. The closest airport is Marco Polo, located in Venice. From Marco Polo airport, it only takes around 20 minutes to reach the train station in Mestre. You can easily catch the ATVO flybus or line 5, which run approximately every 10 minutes. The bus stop is conveniently located at the west side of the train station. Tickets for the bus cost 8 (as of August 2015).
If you prefer another airport, Treviso airport is also nearby, approximately 50 minutes away by bus from the same bus stop at the train station. No matter which airport you choose, you'll have convenient transportation options to reach the charming town of Mestre and begin your exploration of the beautiful region surrounding Venice.
